Lagos: The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 41 ships carrying petroleum products, food items, and other goods are expected to arrive at Lagos ports on Wednesday. This information was revealed in the NPA’s Daily Shipping Position, which was obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the bulletin indicates that the vessels are scheduled to arrive between April 8 and April 14. The NPA has specified that 24 of these ships will be loaded with containers carrying various goods. Additionally, 17 ships are set to berth with bulk sugar, fresh fish, salt, general cargo, gypsum, aviation fuel, diesel, naphtha, gasoline, gas oil, and wheat.
The NPA further stated that 16 ships and tankers have already arrived and are currently awaiting berthing at the three ports. These vessels are carrying general cargo, wheat, diesel, aviation fuel, petrol, gasoline, blend stock, containers, crude oil, fertilizer, and fresh fish.
Moreover, it was highlighted that 21 ships are presently discharging urea, containers, base oil, fresh fish, soya beans, gas, and fertilizer at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa, and Tincan Island Port.
