Post: NTAC Director-General Optimistic About 2026 Economic Progress, Extends Holiday Greetings to Nigerians

Abuja: Dr Yusuf Yakub, the Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), has expressed optimism regarding economic progress for the year 2026, while extending his greetings to Nigerians for Christmas and the New Year. Yakub conveyed these sentiments on Wednesday in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Nkem Anyata-Lafia.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Yakub congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas and New Year celebrations, acknowledging the evident blessings upon the nation. He stated that 2025 is concluding on a very positive note for Nigeria and its citizens. Yakub emphasized the importance of unity and comprehensive love among Nigerians, suggesting that fostering these values would help improve the country in the coming year. He advised the public to embrace sentiments of good neighborliness.

Yakub further encouraged Nigerians to spread the joy of the Christmas and New Year celebrations through sharing gifts and fostering friendships, regardless of any differences in creed or language. He remarked that when a significant portion of the population embraces love, camaraderie, and oneness, Nigeria transforms into a grand celebration of peace and unity. This, he believes, helps the nation remain peaceful and united, surmounting any security threats.

The Director-General also called for increased faith in political leaders and their ability to instigate positive change. He urged continuous support and prayers for President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, as well as the leaders of the Legislature and state governors.
