Post: Oyetola Celebrates Khamis Badmus at 80, Hails Legacy of Service


Osogbo: The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has congratulated renowned businessman and philanthropist, Khamis Badmus, on his 80th birthday anniversary. Oyetola, a former Governor of Osun, described Badmus’ attainment of 80 years as a testament to Allah’s grace.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, in a congratulatory message issued on Friday, Oyetola said the celebrant had devoted his life to humanity, community service, and national development. He commended Badmus for his contributions to the socio-economic development of Osun and Nigeria through business, philanthropy, and moral leadership.



Oyetola described him as a symbol of visionary leadership, resilience, and commitment to national progress. He particularly lauded Badmus’ role as Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, including Edo and Delta states. Oyetola noted Badmus’ efforts in fostering spiritual growth, unity, and inclusive capacity development across generations, which have left an indelible mark on countless lives.



The minister praised Badmus’ contributions to agriculture through his Tuns Farms. According to him, the organization has improved livelihoods and contributed significantly to Nigeria’s food security and economic resilience. He said the enterprise had become a reference point in agricultural innovation, empowerment, and employment generation.



Oyetola concluded with well-wishes for Badmus, hoping for continued good health, long life, and enduring prosperity. He expressed a wish that Badmus’ years ahead be filled with peace, joy, and the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of his lifelong dedication flourish even further.
