Ologbo:The Enogie of Ologbo, His Royal Highness Emma Iyase, has committed to promoting the inclusion of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in the implementation of host community development provisions within the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), 2021.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Iyase expressed this commitment during a meeting with a delegation from the Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD), supported by the Ford Foundation. The visit aimed to ensure that PWDs are actively involved in development planning and can benefit from relevant programs.

The traditional ruler praised the group’s advocacy efforts and highlighted the importance of involving PWDs in community decision-making. He assured his support for their inclusion in benefit structures and the execution of PIA 2021 provisions, benefiting all community members.
